Students Create Historical Artifacts That Explore Key Moments in World History

World History in ninth grade traces human history from its earliest origins through the early 20th century. Every March, students return from Spring Break and dive into the World Artifacts Project.

Students begin this hands-on history project by choosing a topic or event to research and identifying a specific artifact that captures that moment in history. After several days of classroom research, they head to the Makerspace to build their artifacts by hand and prepare presentations explaining each artifact's significance.
