Students Explore Fundamentals of Circuitry and Soldering in the Makerspace

As part of the Engineering and Design class, Upper School students had the opportunity to assemble a digital clock using a soldering kit.  In addition to soldering, the unit taught students the fundamentals of simple circuitry and the different functions of electronic components. The experience fostered an appreciation for engineering and design, while emphasizing the importance of precision, safety, and understanding the circuit elements at work.
