On Tuesday, October 15, students from all divisions collaborated to help plant daffodils in various locations around campus. Pre-K students paired up with their seventh-grade buddies, while Kindergartners worked alongside students of the Upper School Environmental Club and Upper School Garden Club.
Members of The Little Garden Club of Rye led a brief lesson on daffodils, teaching students about the bulbs and their planting process. With guidance from their buddies, students dug six-inch holes and planted the bulbs near the PAC, Pinkham Building, and Athletic Center.
The daffodils are expected to bloom in early spring, featuring a range of colors, shapes, and sizes. We look forward to seeing the flowers brighten our campus and return each year to mark the arrival of spring!
