Upper School Clubs Organize Activities to Celebrate Diwali
The AAPI Club and Students of Color (SOC) Mentoring Group organized activities around campus in celebration of Diwali, which is also known as the Festival of Lights.
The clubs hosted an introduction to drawing rangoli, traditional South Asian folk art designs that families and communities create during the holiday. Students were also invited to draw a large chalk rangoli on the walkway underneath the library.
At the Upper School Community Meeting, members of the APPI Club also shared an informational presentation about Diwali with their peers.
