Upper School Robotics Showcases Skills in First 2025-26 Tournament
On Saturday, December 13, the Upper School Robotics teams traveled to The Mount Academy in Esopus, NY, to compete in their first robotics competition of the season. The VEX V5RC Push Back Qualifier featured 37 teams representing 13 counties. The tournament challenged teams to use robots to manipulate objects on a playing field, including navigating a field of 88 blocks and precision parking.
The Wildcats performed well in the Skills portion of the competition, which tests individual robot driving and programming abilities.
The Upper School Robotics team looks forward to their next competition on Saturday, January 24, at New Rochelle High School, where they will compete against 50+ teams.
