Varsity Cross Country Team Participates in RCDS’s Monthly Clean-Up at Edith Read Wildlife Sanctuary
The Edith Read Clean-Up Program is back for its fourth year. Last weekend, the Upper School Cross Country team hosted an energetic group that collected 30 pounds of trash!
Co-sponsored by Rye Country Day’s Sustainability and Public Purpose programs, these clean-ups aim to empower students to volunteer in their community by tending to Rye’s Edith Read Wildlife Sanctuary. Along the way, the students also learn about how they can be leaders in sustainability and make the planet healthier.
