Rye Country Day School hosted its fourth annual Winter Wildcat Weekend on Friday, January 30, and Saturday, January 31. Friday evening was full of Blue & Gold pride, as students, families, and the RCDS community came out to support its six Varsity teams competing in the Scott A. Nelson Athletic Center. 

The Boys’ and Girls’ Varsity Squash, Basketball, and Hockey teams finished the spirited evening with an impressive 5-1 record. In the Athletic Center lobby, students were offered spirit gear including blue and gold beads, pom-poms, and Wildcat pennants courtesy of the Parents Association Athletic Boosters. They also enjoyed hot chocolate and Chuck-a-Puck at intermission of both hockey games, as well as food trucks.

The festivities continued on Saturday with the Family Skating Party in the ice rink. The party served hot chocolate, cookies, and brownies for all participants, courtesy of the Parents Association. Students also won raffle prizes, and continued its annual tradition with a fun group photo on the ice!
