Our Campus
Rye Country Day School is conveniently located at the intersection of I-95 and I-287, 25 miles from Manhattan, and one block from the Rye Metro-North train station. The 26-acre campus features state of the art facilities for academics, athletics, and the arts, including:
Learning Spaces
- Lower and Middle School Building.
- The Upper School’s Mary Struthers Pinkham Building, which includes a technology innovation lab and a 125-person lecture hall.
- Lower School Library.
- Klingenstein Library for the Upper and Middle School.
- Four learning gardens.
Arts Facilities
- The Edward B. Dunn Performing Arts Center, which includes music rooms, a dance studio, and a 480-seat auditorium.
- The Cohen Center for the Creative Arts, a 23,000-square-foot space, which includes digital studios for photography and videography; art studios for ceramics, sculpture, painting, and drawing; the RCDS Makerspace, and an experimental, state-of-the-art black box theater with seating for over 160.
Athletic Facilities
- The Scott A. Nelson Athletics Center, a 40,000-square-foot facility, featuring two basketball courts, squash courts, fitness center, and athletic training facilities.
- The Gerald LaGrange Field House, which features an indoor ice rink in the winter that converts to tennis courts in the spring and fall.
